M&S Is Selling A Valentine's Day Colin The Caterpillar Cake Which Comes With Adorable Girlfriend Connie

Everybody loves a Colin the Caterpillar cake, but if you want to win some serious brownie points, then why not go for a double whammy, and buy his girlfriend Connie, too?

Just in time for Valentine's Day, Marks & Spencer has launched a loved up version of its popular little cake characters, which features both in a Love Cocoon.

Dubbed "the ultimate Valentine's gift" the limited edition cake gift features both Colin and Connie cakes, who have undergone a Valentine's makeover, with hearts dotted across their backs and swoon-y love-heart eyes.

As usual, Connie can also be seen to be wearing a cute pink bow, and has long eyelashes, while a loved up Colin sits happily next to her.

The cakes are each half the size of the normal offering, so that they come together to make a whole. Awww.

It's the first time the characters have ever been sold together, while they've always sat next to each other on shelves.

You can buy Colin and Connie for £10, with the Love Cocoon weighing in at 705g - the perfect amount for your Valentine's feasting.

According to M&S, Colin and Connie 'met at a party in 2016' and the lovebirds went on to wed a year later.

Announcing the news on Tuesday, as the cakes dropped in stores, M&S claim Colin himself gushed: "Connie and I live for birthday parties but we have a feeling we're going to LOVE Valentine's Day even more!

"We're SO excited to celebrate with our fans in their own 'lockdown love cocoons' across the UK!"

We never knew we could be so invested in the love life of two cakes!
