But it seems the humble lolly can cause quite the fiery debate, after one woman found herself arguing over a Calippo with her husband.
Posting in the Family Lockdown Tips and Ideas Facebook group, Nicola Allams wrote: "Help settle our debate...what colour is this mini LIME Calippo?
"I say it's yellow. My husband said it's green. Every time the kids get one out the freezer, we have this same discussion. What colour do you say it is?"
Gosh, it's like that viral dress all over again.
People were torn over what colour the Calippo was, and took to the comments to try and settle the debate.
"It's a lime green and the flavour is actually lemon and lime just to settle it a bit more," one person said, posting another picture of the mini Calippo.
"It looks lime green in one pic and then yellow in the second," a second confused person chipped in.
"It's almost somewhere between the two," a third said. "Say maybe like a...I don't know...lime colour?"
Meanwhile, a fourth joked: "You're both right. The range of colour denotes both yellow and green...I suggest a fight or refer to the Pantone colour chart."
There's actually a scientific reason why some of us see the same colours differently. According to Science Focus, there are some people (and it's mostly women) that have more 'cone' cells, the wavelength sensitive photoreceptors in the retina at the back of their eyes - which means they can typically distinguish more colours.
So we're going to have to take Nicola's side and say it's a bit more yellow to us.
