Cadbury Confirms Orange-Flavoured Twirl Is Coming To The UK Next Month

The zesty flavour already exists in Australia, but is being brought to UK shores for the first time...

Picture a Twirl, in all its crumbly, melt-in-the-mouth chocolatey glory - but now imagine it in a zesty chocolate orange flavour. Omg, right?

Well imagine no longer, because Cadbury are launching the limited edition Orange-Flavoured Twirl in September and we can barely contain our excitement.

The orange-flavoured Twirl is already a thing in Australia and New Zealand, but next month will mark the first time it hits UK shores.

The news first got out when promotional imagery from the launch was leaked online- and we simultaneously realised it was possible to taste through a photo.

Cadbury were then forced to confront the rumours, admitting the new Twirl flavour was coming our way.

A company spokesperson said: "We knew it would be difficult to keep the news of the limited edition Cadbury Twirl Orange under wraps as people would be as excited about the product as we are.

"We can't share much more at the moment, but watch this space for more information as we get closer to the launch."

Right now, we don't have many details on the specifics of the launch, such as an exact drop date. However Twirls (which are essentially a Flake encased in chocolate) currently cost 60p for a 43gram bar - so we're expecting the orange iteration to be around the same price point.

Already, the chocolate bar appears to have gained a few fans. Posted on Facebook group Money Saver Online, people shared their excitement about the launch.

"I will look forward to seeing that one on the shelf!!," said one excited Cadbury fan.

"We had these in nz last year -delicious!! Loved them," said another.

"Twirl are my favourite Cadbury chocolate! These will be lush I bet!," shared a third.

Back in 2017, Cadbury launched a limited edition Caramel Twirl, and we predict the orange version will be just as good (or even better) than this.

One person even called the upcoming launch "peak confectionary," passionately adding: "Never will there be again a more divine and perfect pairing of flavours. Once I have tried this, I can die knowing I lived."

Ditto to that.
