In food news we've all been waiting for, the biggest chicken wing festival is coming back to the UK this year.

Fan-favourite Wing Fest is returning to three UK locations this year, to showcase the best poultry-based street food in an effort to discover who does the best chicken wings in the UK.

Taking place in London, Bristol and Manchester, the two-day event will give members of the public the chance to sample food from the UK's top restaurants, street food traders, barbecue teams and pop-ups.

Foodie fans can then decide on which chicken wings they like best and vote for their favourites to win the popular competition and be crowned winners of The Official UK Chicken Wing Awards.

Wings will cost £1 each and will be sold in individual joints to allow voters to sample as many as they can manage, while the popular wing eating competition is also back this year and taking place on both days.

This will give chicken fans the chance to compete to eat as many chicken wings as possible.

The Dr Sweetsmoke deadly lava wing challenge is also returning this year, and there will be popular cooking demonstrations and barbecue tips for budding chefs.

There will also be plenty of fairground attractions, bourbon masterclasses, wing roulette wheels and more.

Plus, ticket holders wanting to soak up the vibe can enjoy performances from roaming musicians, live entertainment, music and DJs too.

This year, there are 35 street food brands appearing at the London event, with 120,000 wings expected to go on sale.

Manchester's Wing Fest will showcase 20 different street food traders and 80,000 wings will be served up.

Wing Fest Bristol will take place on the 8th and 9th May, London's event takes place on the 25th and 26th July, while Manchester's Wing Fest is happening on the 15th and 16th August.

Tickets for the popular events go on sale on the 28th February.
