If lockdown has taught us anything it's that the possibilities are truly ENDLESS when it comes to baking with Biscoff.
Yep, Biscoff mousse is here - and it looks oh-so good. Honestly, you could serve these little babies at weddings!
Served in little cups or ramekins, the perfectly fluffy mousse is topped with Biscoff spread, then more of the crushed, caramel-ly biscuits, and decorated with another biscuit. Mmm.
We reckon' these are ideal to impress your mate with for your socially-distanced picnic or simply to keep in your fridge for a post-dinner treat. And the best part is they are SO easy to make. We're talking minutes!
Sydney-based food blogger Walla Abu-Eid shared her recipe with Tyla, and it's ridiculously simple.
All you'll need is an electric mix (or some serious elbow grease), 600ml thickened cream (heavy whipping cream), 10 tbsp of melted Biscoff spread and, optionally, Lotus Biscoff biscuits to decorate.
First, Walla says to whip your cream using an electric mixer or by hand until soft peaks form on the top.
Next, place your jar of Biscoff spread in the microwave for a few seconds (about 20) until it softens. When it's nice and soft, place 10 tbsp of it over your cream and fold in together using a spatular until there's no more streaks.
For presentation points, layer your mousse on top of crushed Biscoff biscuits placed at the bottom of your ramekins, and layer with more softened spread and decorate with a some biscuits.
Finally, set your desserts in the fridge for at least two hours before enjoying!
Biscoff, what can't you do?!?
