Baileys Yule Log Is Back At ASDA In Time For Christmas

Baileys Yule Log Is Back At ASDA In Time For Christmas

Now this is our kind of Yule log.

It's almost the season to eat chocolate, turkey and pretty much everything in sight with a free pass, so we're excited to hear that the Baileys Yule Log has returned in time for Christmas.

The chocolatey goodness was a winner last year in the festive period and we have no doubts it will be once again.

The Yule log will set you back a fiver.

What's not to like about a chocolate sponge rolled into a festive log shape and filled with chocolate frosting? It's also coated in milk chocolate, covered in a Baileys frosting and topped with chocolate curls. Did we say CHOCOLATE?!

We're drooling.

At £5 and serving eight, that works out at just 62.5p per portion - bargain.

Although let's be honest, there's no way we'll be sharing that between eight. Maybe four at a push because hey, it's Christmas, plus supermarkets are always stingy with their portions.

You can buy the cake in Asda now and you won't need ID to purchase it, so you can make a quick pit stop at the store en route home tonight and send your youngster sprinting in to grab one. It's best to test the goods before you serve it up for Christmas after all.

The Irish liqueur company has been really going for it this month with exciting news, as they have also just launched Salted Caramel Baileys which promises to have a "deliciously decadent flavour". Something we don't doubt given the original.

The brand has also launched cupcakes which look dreamy and will cost £4 for 9.

You'll find the drink for sale in wholesaler shop Costco as well as Asda right now, with it coming to Morrisons and Sainsbury's from November 1st. It has a RRP of £16 - here's hoping there'll be an offer though.

In addition, Baileys cupcakes have just been launched in Tesco for £4 and the brand has also re-released its Freakshake cake with a hot chocolate version.

The cake that is perfect for parties will apparently serve 18 guests and will set you back £13 at Tesco, but just £12 at Asda and Sainsbury's.

You've been really spoilt with Baileys products this year.

We're loosening our belts just thinking about all these decadent goodies.
