Asda Launches Sweet Shop Flavoured Shimmery Gin Range

With hot weather sweeping across the UK this week, there's no better time to discover a tasty and refreshing new tipple to enjoy in the sunshine.
Say hello to Asda's latest Extra Special gin collection - and they're all sweet shop themed. Drool.
Yep, we're talking a nostalgic cola cube flavour as well as strawberry laces, and rhubarb and custard flavours, too.
We're getting serious flashbacks of standing in the newsagents after school, spending about an hour deciding on which sweets we'd be scoffing on the way home.
The gins are available in store from today and are priced at £18 per 70cl bottle.
First up, there's the Extra Special Strawberry Laces Gin, infused with a sprinkle of glitter for a very shimmery tipple. It has that classic, sweet strawberry flavour and is perfect for a fruity cocktail or mixed with lemonade.
Next up - and possibly providing the biggest dose of nostalgia - is the Extra Special Cola Cube Gin, with a golden shimmer and unmistakeable cola cube flavour. Simply add to your mixer of choice with heaps of ice (you'll need it this week!) and a dash of lemon.
Finally, the sweet and sour Extra Special Rhubarb and Custard Gin mixes tangy rhubarb flavours with creamy vanilla custard.
It's the ideal barbecue tipple, simply pair the shimmery gin with either a simple tonic or a zesty lemonade.
