Fire up the BBQ immediately as ASDA has just launched multi-packs of donut-shaped beef burgers, simply seasoned with salt and pepper.

The hole in the middle of the meaty burgers mean that there is enough space to squeeze in some melted cheese or an egg.

You could even make it a double meat feast by adding some pulled pork into the middle of the burger, before you pop it into a bread bun - or maybe you could try all three of the suggested fillings in one sitting.

Supermarket giant ASDA's new donut burgers come in 280g packs of two for £1.97, which works out at less than 99p each.

The shape of the donut burger also means it is the perfect partner for a bagel.

"Fill with pulled pork or Cheddar for some fab flavour combinations," reads ASDA's product description on the burgers' packaging.

The new meaty beef burgers are already available in ASDA stores and online now, and are sure to be a huge hit this BBQ season.

ASDA's donut-shaped meat feasts contain no gluten in the ingredients, meaning they are the perfect barbecue option for any guests following a gluten-free lifestyle.

Shoppers are already raving about the burgers, with one reviewing on the supermarkets website: "Burger & Beer the perfect match Fits perfectly over neck of beer bottle so no plate needed. Can you bringing out a doughnut bun to put it in," adding a rating of five stars.

Another customer added: "We donut believe it, how cool are these burgers."

"Perfect for a bagel," somebody else pointed out.

While it might seem like you are getting less burger for your money as they have a hole in the middle, the burgers each weigh 140g. Meanwhile, ASDA's Butcher's Selection Quarter Pounders weigh 114g each.
