Asda's Ghost Crumpets are back to haunt your breakfast time this year, and we'll be stocking up immediately.

If you're anything like us, you'll already be preparing to deck your home with pumpkins, cobwebs and even Halloween advent calendars (yep, they're now a thing).

But now you can take your obsession with the spooky season one step further, thanks to the supermarket's ghoul shaped crumpets.

Available for £1 in stores nationwide this month, the crumpets are like mini Caspers with wide eyes and a wailing expression.

You get six crumpets in a pack, meaning each comes in at just 17p per ghost. A Halloween bargain!

Ciara Loker, Asda product developer, said: "Following the success of the fluffy Bunny and Love Heart-shaped toaster treats at Easter and Valentine's Day, we know that shaped, novelty crumpets are always popular choices amongst our customers, and we couldn't let Halloween go by without creating these devilish delights, which are no trick and all treat.

"Last year, our Jack-o'-lantern crumpets flew off shelves throughout October, so we hope our customers enjoy these spooktastic crumpets for Halloween just as much."

And if you like carrying the Halloween food through to your meals then why stop at savoury delights?

While you're at it, Marks and Spencer is now selling a Halloween Colin The Caterpillar, equipped with chocolate maggots and everything.

Creepy Colin the Caterpillar cake boasts a ghoulish green face and possessed purple eyes while a hoard of white and green chocolate maggots hang onto his thick milk chocolate coating.

Creeping it real, Colin boasts complementing green chocolate feet while a witching purple chocolate swirl drapes over his body.

You know what they say, if you got it, haunt it!

Plus, Tesco is currently stocking a 'Cursed' Blackberry Gin. So, make of that what you will.

Tesco's website says the fruity gin is "Perfect with tonic or in a glass of prosecco."

The 37.5 per cent gin has arrived as the sister to Wildcat's original gin, Gin of the Night and the company says it is a "darker thornier sister". How very Halloween appropriate.
