Mac and cheese is one of life's true delights. It brings joy to every occasion with its blend of pasta and mouth-watering cheese to create the closet thing we have to an internal hug.

Yet, macaroni and cheese lovers are sure to go gaga with Aldi latest offerings - a delectable Specially Selected Mac & Cheese burger.

The cheesy delight arrived at supermarket shelves (or rather fridges) as a Specialbuy on Thursday, 14th November and cost a mere £2.49 for a 440g package.

Following the success of their Mac & Cheese Kiev, the German supermarket's latest offering combines two American classics to create a flavour sensation with every mouthful - and even better, it's gluten-free.

The burger is made with a juicy steak patty, topped with heavenly macaroni and mature cheddar cheese that covers over the burger during cooking.

It sounds like absolute filth and we're totally onboard.

Like every Aldi Specialbuys, the burgers are only available while stocks lasts so nab it while you can.

The Specially Selected Mac & Cheese burger comes hot on the heels of the return of Aldi's beloved Halloumi Fries. You best brie-lieve the supermarket giant isn't messing about this time of year.

It's obviously a tasty treat on its own, but Aldi unveiled an even more delectable addition to make us drool that little bit more with their Halloumi Burger.

How's that for a gooey goodness overload?

You can choose from a pack of ten Halloumi Fries or a pack of four Halloumi Burgers available for £2.29 each.

To top it all off, Aldi's Kevin the Carrot has returned for the holidays - and if you're a fan of the unlikely Christmas icon, you can get your hands on his merchandise from November 24th online, and Thursday 28th in-stores.

The high street supermarket's advert once again starred Kevin in 2019, making it the fourth year in a row he's fronted the supermarket's Christmas TV campaign.

We're so excited for all this Christmas goodness, we camembert it!
