Crispy bacon. Succulent sausage. Dinky bite-sized proportions. Seriously, is there anything tastier than a pig in blanket?

No wonder these flavoursome porky snacks are the people's favourite of Christmas trimmings.

Well, good news, because supermarket Aldi has taken the festive staple and given it an oh-so-snackable makeover for spring time. Genius!

We can't believe this hasn't been done before, tbh. Who says these tasty treats have to be reserved for Yule Tide?

The all-new Aldi's pigs in blankets are cooked and ready to eat. No time hanging around the oven with our mouths watering, then.

How about the ingredients?

Well, the ready-cooked P-I-Bs are made with deliciously seasoned pork sausage infused with sage and black pepper. Yum!

The sausages are then hand-wrapped in the smokiest streaky bacon for the ultimate flavour.

You can eat Aldi's pigs in blankets cold or heat them up in the oven for a warming treat.

We'll be sampling ours cold with a mixed salad and new potatoes for a summery lunch, and hot with a full Sunday lunch - bring on the roasties and gravy!

These snackable delights are available in all stores across the UK now - all that's left for you to decide is how and when you want to gobble them up.

The P-I-Bs come in snack packs of 12, costing a wallet-friendly £1.49 per tub.

This isn't the first time Aldi have come up trumps with a genius take on the traditional pig in blanket either...

Back in Christmas 2019 they came up with this epic two metre long version of the Christmas classic. Where's the drool emoji when you need it?

But back to the snackable version. With the weather warming up for Easter, these are perfect for serving in the garden as an isolation picnic lunch, or alone as a pick-me-up snack, and are perfect for the whole family.
