As we all become more aware about what's best for the planet, many of us choosing to lead a vegan diet.
That shift has led to more and more restaurants, brands and shops expanding their ranges to include some great plant-based options that mean new vegans don't have to feel like they're missing out.

One such shop is Aldi, who has just expanded its vegan range to include sausage rolls.
Greggs did the same in January, to such excitement that they sold out every day.
And Aldi's ones are, if less convenient, definitely a competitor - the soya-based sausage rolls will cost just £1.19 for four entire sausage rolls.

Mae's Kitchen Vegan No Sausage Rolls are "wrapped in flaky, golden puff pastry and are the perfect meat-free and vegan contender to the much-loved British favourite". They're intended to be a fair replacement for a regular sausage roll.
Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi, said: "The launch of our new vegan range is in response to our growing, ethically inspired customer base, looking for delicious alternatives to meat and another example of our ongoing commitment to cater for all diets, at everyday low prices.
"We look forward to expanding our vegan offering even further over the coming months."

If sausage rolls aren't for you, you can also pick up some tasty fake chicken burgers, beef burgers, or "superfood" burgers.
The store claims that the burgers are "everything you would expect from a burger...thick, flavoursome and juicy" and that you'll "find it hard to believe they're vegan".

Here's the full list of products in Aldi's new vegan range:
Mae's Kitchen Vegan, No Sausage Rolls (£1.19, 4 pack)
Mae's Kitchen Vegan No Beef Burgers (£1.99, 2 pack)
Mae's Kitchen Vegan No Chicken Burger (£1.99, 2 pack)
Mae's Kitchen Superfood Burgers (£1.99, 2 pack)
Needless to say, we can't wait to try.
