Aldi Has Launched A Gingerbread Gin That Is Perfect For The Festive Season
Aldi has released details of a new gingerbread gin they are launching across stores, and it sounds incredible.
As nights get longer and the temperature drops there's nothing better than getting cosy and enjoying a little treat.
Gingerbread is one of those smells and flavours that reminds us of being all snug in front of a fire so now is the perfect time for Aldi to launch a new gin.
The Gingerbread Gin Liqueur will be available from the 1st October both online and in stores and will be just £9.99 a bottle- which is a bargain.
Aldi described the liqueur as having warming notes of ginger, cinnamon, vanilla and orange and is best served with a splash of tonic water and ice.
The supermarket is expecting the gin to be a huge hit, and we can see why as t has been crafted using one of the most popular seasonal flavours.
Sam Caporn, Aldi's Wine Expert (yes that's a real job) said: "The gin bubble is yet to burst, and it's fantastic that shoppers can turn to Aldi for award-winning, great quality bottles that won't break the bank.
"The brand new Gingerbread Gin Liqueur is not only deliciously on-trend, but its a brand new festive tipple, that is sure to delight gin lovers this festive season!"
Of course, if you can't wait until October, Aldi recently launched their online gin shop, where you can have your favourite gins delivered to your door.
Both bottles are priced at £19.99, and you can even get them delivered straight to your door the next day for £3.95 - you don't even need to move off the sofa to get your favourite gin fix.
The gins were originally only released in Scottish Aldi stores, and this launch means the rest of the UK can finally sample them.
They have been released online as part of the supermarket's National Gin Festival, which launched in July.
Eden Mill's Botanical Project are officially award-winning, and picked up several prizes at the International Spirits Challenge 2018.
Both spirits won an accolade for the best flavoured gin, and the distillery's Traditional Batch Gin won a top spot in the 'Gin Distilled Premium' category, but unfortunately this isn't available online.
Despite the full range not being available on the website, it's predicted that these two flavours will be extremely popular.
