Aldi Are Launching Parma Violet Gin Cream For Christmas

Christmas time is just around the corner, which means there's plenty of pudding to be had.

And Aldi is making sure each dessert you indulge yourself in is truly unmissable with its brand new Violet Gin Cream.

The thick double cream has been infused with delicately flavoured gin to make sure your puds pack that extra festive, boozy punch.

And to make it even more photo-worthy, the cream is coloured purple, making it certain to add a sparkle of flair to dessert plates up and down the country this Christmas.

The Violet Gin Cream features subtle floral notes, which infused with the botanical gin gives for a unique and moreish taste. And for only £1.79 for 250ml, there's no reason not to pile the cream high on your pud this Christmas.

If floral gin isn't quite to your taste, then Aldi do have other special double creams on offer, including a rich Salted Caramel flavour, and a more traditional (but no more delicious) Vanilla Luxardo.

The new creams will go perfectly with these mouth-watering mince pie flavours, including salted caramel crumble, millionnaire's mince pie, blood orange and gin, walnut and buttercream, and Amaretto, cherry and kirsch.

In other festive Aldi news, the store (which is currently best known for its Kevin the Carrot Christmas campaign) is also releasing an epic two metre Pig in Blanket.

Well, that'll certainly make social distancing a little more fun this season.

But the huge sausage-wrapped-in-bacon range from the store also includes loaded pigs in blankets, vegan pigs in blankets *and* the luxurious 'truffle pigs'. Yum.

We're unbuttoning our jeans at the thought...
