Pantone just announced its colour of the year for 2019, and it looks like everything is going to be covered in 'Living Coral' next year.

Also known as Pantone 16-1546, the colour is a warm and vibrant orange tone and we're definitely a huge fan.

To come up with the colour of the year, Pantone starts its research earlier and studies trends in fashion, art and films to see if there is a shade that keeps popping up.

Pantone is definitely trying to keep us feeling optimistic about 2019.

If you don't want to paint your whole room Living Coral, why not add a pop of colour with cushions or throws.

Leatrice Eiseman, the executive director of the Pantone Colour Institute, said: "Pantone 16-1546 Living Coral emits the desired, familiar, and energising aspects of colour found in nature.

"In its glorious, yet unfortunately more elusive, display beneath the sea, this vivifying and effervescent colour mesmerises the eye and mind.

"Lying at the centre of our naturally vivid and chromatic ecosystem, Pantone Living Coral is evocative of how coral reefs provide shelter to a diverse kaleidoscope of colour."
