These Are Some Of The Most Pinned Christmas Tables On Pinterest

With Christmas fast approaching everyone's attention has turned to the finer details like how the table is going to look for the big day.

If you're the host there is often more to look after than just the turkey and sometimes you need a bit of inspiration to help you create the perfect atmosphere.

Luckily Pintrest is full of inspiring and amazing Christmas table ideas they are all pretty simple to recreate and shouldn't result in a burnt turkey because you've spent too much time focusing on the table.

If you're wanting to go for a pretty natural and simple look this year then this farmhouse Christmas table will be perfect for you and your guests.

As well as looking amazing it is so simple to lay out and will take you 10 minutes maximum.

This table setting doesn't have a table cloth but if you wanted to add one a white cloth would be perfect. Then start by placing your log place mats down adding some simple layered white crockery on top of them.

Place gold cutlery onto the log, for a decorative tough you can also create some custom place name settings with some twigs and sprigs of rosemary (it'll smell amazing too).

Then you can lay down a nice and simple garland in the centre of the table to stick with the theme it is best to go with a leafy garland with no flowers but it is down to personal taste.

Of course it wouldn't be a Christmas table without candles, using some coasters similar to your log place mats you can pop some candles on top of those around the table.

Nestled into the garland you can place some larger candle sticks but make sure the flame isn't too close to the garland and try to avoid knocking them over as you don't want your table to go up in flames.

If you want to go for a more luxurious looking table then this dark blue and gold table setting will definitely wow your guests.

The places are set with gold placemats and coasters with white crockery layered up on top of them.

A dark blue napkin is then placed on each seat with a decorative napkin ring to hold it in place. This table setting has some decorative glassware that you can really have fun with, if they are blue or gold they will fit perfectly.

However, we have spotted these gold rimmed wine glasses and these very glam champagne glasses that will add a quirky touch to the table.

To decorate the centre a gold sequin table runner will compliment the gold napkin rings and a pine cone garland just makes it all look a little bit more Christmassy.

Maybe you have been inspired by Mrs Hinch's amazing grey and white home and want to bring some of the colour scheme to your Christmas table.

White and grey will always be a winner at Christmas and if you start with a white table cloth and grey place mats you're almost there.

You can't forget the crackers at Christmas so some grey and white ones would definitely not look out of place.

Add a white napkin folded into a triangle on top of the plates and then you can create some DIY place name settings with a mini silver vase, pine cones and some shrubbery from your garden.

To decorate the actual table you can add some star and snowflake scatters to the table if you want to fill up the empty space.

You can also dot some candles around the table and on top of a mirrored place mat in the centre of the table.

Now if you're feeling really extra this year you could hang a wreath over your table to make it feel just that little bit grander.

Of course you don't want a huge one that you'll end up having to push out the way all the time but it would add an extra talking point to the dinner.

However, let's not forget that Christmas is all about fun so why not have some fun with your table and set it out covered in snowmen.

Lay your white plates out so you have a smaller one underneath the bigger one and you have your basic body shape.

Using a red cloth napkin you can give your little snow buddy a scarf and a small square black napkin above the head will give the look of a hat.

You can then use some marzipan carrots and chocolate buttons to give your snowmen some eyes, a nose and buttons.

Once your snowman looks more complete you can lay the cutlery out to give him arms.

For a centrepiece you can use a large glass vase and fill it with white pom poms and small top hats to keep with the snow man theme.

You can also decorate the centrepiece with some candy canes so all your guests have a sweet treat to take home.
