Ikea has put its own twist on the centuries-old Kama Sutra sex manual to allow its customers 'ultimate satisfaction' when designing their bedrooms.

The 44-page, tongue-in-cheek e-book will help you "master the art of loving your bedroom". "Explore our full range of positions from classic to modern and everything in between," adds the Swedish furniture company.

Ikea's new manual contains 20 different bedroom solutions, including 'Doggy Style' (how to share your room with your pet).

There's also the 'Lotus Flower', which explains how to bring the outdoors into your bedroom design, as well as 'The Climber', showing how to incorporate a bunk bed into your room.

Other ideas include 'Glowing Boudoir', 'Tiger Bridge', 'Widely Open', 'Swedish Chair', and 'Beautiful Behind'.

Dubbed the "ultimate guide to bedroom satisfaction", Ikea's guide contains plenty of illustrations for you to take inspiration from too.

As Ikea explains: "Are you satisfied with your bedroom? Have you grown bored or tired with the same old bedroom positions? Do you yearn for more? You've come to the right place. After decades of studying the intricacies of quality bedroom living, we've gathered all of our expertise in one handy manual, the IKEA Kåma Sutra.

Ikea

"It has gorgeous illustrations that will inspire new ideas and a plethora of ingenious positions to guide your journey in the bedroom. Whether you're restless or yearning for more, this book has a position for you. And by "position" we mean bedroom solution. Wouldn't want you getting the wrong idea."

And the interior design manual looks at beds, storage, lighting, accessories and more, so it's got everything covered, plus plenty of innuendos.

Items are also tagged throughout the book, along with prices.

The original Kama Sutra is described as an ancient Indian Sanskrit on sexuality, eroticism and emotional fulfilment in life, and Ikea is playing on this with its own version.
