As if we actually needed another reason to shop at Zara the retailer has announced it is launching a new line of lipsticks.

Now we can pick up a new bold lip colour as well as a stunning new outfit for our Christmas party all in one go from the 5 December.

The make-up range will be exclusively available online and is a 'comprehensive collection of lipsticks designed in L.A. and made in France'.

We just hope you haven't finalised your Christmas list as you have twelve "unstoppable, one-stroke-application, full matte liquid lipsticks," and eight "velvety, highly pigmented, and very comfortable matte lipsticks" to choose from.

Some shades will also be on offer in a limited edition three-piece lip kit which will consist of a lipstick, a liquid lipstick, a lip liner and a makeup case.

Zara did launch their own cosmetics back in 2007 but this lipstick line is totally new.

The collection has been inspired by the dramatic looks created by Vogue beauty editor Pat McGrath for the Zara autumn/winter 2018 campaign.

Zara explains the inspiration behind the bold lipstick line, highlighting the importance of ensuring that the products in the range are of a high quality and reasonably priced.

The retailer said: "During the initial stages of creation Zara sought expert knowledge and guidance from some of the most influential, experienced beauty professionals in the industry."

"This has resulted in the production of long-lasting, easy to use, matte lipstick shades.

"With the new addition of this beauty line Zara aims to provide top quality, innovative, fun and affordable products."

Zara must have taken some inspiration from other retailers such as Topshop whose beauty range have been flying off shelves.

Their eyeshadows come in six different finishes - matte, metallic, satin, sparkly, chrome and crayons and there is also volume-boosting mascaras, eyeliners, eyelid primers and brow-taming products.
