Woman Creates Gorgeous Curls Using Her Dressing Gown Belt
A woman on TikTok has revealed how to achieve incredible curls using just your dressing gown belt. And since we've been living in ours since lockdown, it's easy peasy.
"Okay, so I saw this girl on TikTok curled her hair with a robe tie thing and I decided I might try it out and see how it goes," Bri explained.
Bri then went on to part her hair down the middle, placing the dressing gown belt across the top of her head so there was an even amount of belt on each side.
She then plaited each side of her hair around the belt, wrapping three sections around the tie in a sort of French plait. She did this on both sides and was left with two plaited pig tails.
"I think you kind of do it like a French braid and you just go around in circles, gathering more hair as you go. Repeat the process until you get to the end and then tie it in a pony tail," Bri explained, before going to bed to sleep in the plaits.
The next day, the results were dramatic.
Visibly excited by the incredible curls, Bri can be seen in shock as she unravels each plait. At one point, she even gasps at just how amazing they are - and we can see why.
"Oooooo my god. Okay. What!" She says to the camera.
Honestly, they are some of *the* most beautiful curls we've ever seen. The camera then flips to Bri admiring her curls a little later, miming "WHAT" again to show she's still not over it.
Obviously we're trying this out tonight. It seems a wider fluffy/towel belt would work best as opposed to a silky satin number and it's advised to leave the plaits in overnight or at least for a good few hours.
You could even try it out first thing in the morning, leave in all day while you're working from home and remove just in time for an evening Houseparty with your mates.
We're so excited to treat our hair to a style other than scruffy bun...
