If there's one thing that Love Island taught us this year it's that getting your mum to shave your behind is acceptable, and yes we're looking at you Anton Danyluk.

And in light of the Scotsman's confession, Lidl have come to the rescue of sons and mothers alike as they have launched a new Body Hair Trimmer that will get anyone feeling a little furry fuzz-free in no time.

The grooming tool, which is perfect for the lazy preeners amongst us, hit the German supermarket chain's middle aisle on Sunday, 28th July and costs a reasonable £14.99.

Not only good for those looking to groom themselves with minimal effort, the device is also handy for pregnant women with its extendable arm, which can help tackle all those hard to reach places especially if a bump is in the way.

The "versatile" tool comes with three comb attachments as well as a charging base, mains adaptor and cleaning brush.

Speaking of the limited buy, the store said: "Lidl shoppers won't need to get their partner or parent involved however, as Lidl's grooming gadget features a practical fold-out extension making it perfect for those slightly harder to reach areas.

The device is available in stores nationwide, while stocks last, so shoppers, you have been warned. As the supermarket said: "You better hurry before it's hair today, gone tomorrow." Never a truer word spoken.

The nation were left stunned during this year's instalment of Love Island when gym owner Anton, 24, admitted that he got his mother Sherie Ann to shave his bottom.

He said before going into the Villa: "I said to my mum my bum was hairy so she shaved it before I came out here. You go with an electric razor first and then with a normal razor."

Addressing his confession, Sherie Ann, who is an absolute saint in our eyes, insisted that it was the "least she could do" for her son.

She told the Daily Record: "It's something I do every couple of weeks and it's no big deal in our house.

"At the end of the day, I used to change his nappies so shaving his bum is nothing. What's the difference in that and taking a bit of hair away from his backside?

"We are really close and it's the least I can do for him."

It's true, a mother's love for her son knows no bounds... or boundaries.
