As we all try to move towards using more sustainable products, we're looking for brands with a similar ethos.

UpCircle, a London-based beauty brand, is committed to sustainability, using leftover coffee beans and other natural products to make soaps, serums, exfoliants, and other skincare.

Ingredients include ginger, fennel, chai tea spices and cinnamon - so we're pretty sure that as well as being ethical, they smell amazing.

UpCircle's mission is to "elevate leftover natural ingredients, bringing them back to life as beauty products your skin will love."

The brand creates soaps, serums, scrubs and more. But its products aren't just natural and ethical - they also actually work as they have great reviews online.

The company claims that with UpCircle, you get to enjoy the benefits of "nature's own skin rejuvenators" while doing the planet good.

Appearing on Dragon's Den last year, brother and sister team Anna and William Brightman wanted to repurpose leftover coffee beans from cafes all over London.

They thought about the amount of coffee beans that went to waste every single day and got to work rebranding their compan after the dragons advised them to give their packaging and copy a facelift.

From there, they started using other products, like leftover hemp seed husks, nutmeg, vanilla, ginger and cloves.

According to the brand, 60 per cent of a café's waste is coffee grounds - 500,000 tonnes of coffee grounds go to UK landfill each year, which decompose to release methane, a greenhouse gas.

Speaking to Glamour, William said: "The ingredients we use retain their quality even after we've turned them into beauty products. The chai tea spices still smell amazing after brewing and the levels of antioxidants in coffee increase as it's brewed - making it even better for your skin. Better for your skin, better for the planet - it's a win-win!"

The hydrating face serum with coffee oil promises to brighten the skin morning and night and currently has five stars from tons of satisfied customers.

If soap is more your thing, the cinnamon and ginger chai soap bar sounds delicious (do not eat) and can be used on both face and body to reduce redness.
