Shoppers Praise £6 Anti-Chafing Cream With Hundreds Of Five Star Reviews
While sunshine and blue skies couldn't have been more welcome this Bank Holiday Easter weekend, the return of 'chub rub' saw us looking frantically for anti-chafing solutions.
Thankfully, this £6.49 anti-chafing cream, which you can purchase from Amazon and Boots, could be the answer to banishing the problem all summer long.
Lanacane Anti-Chafing Gel comes with a £6.49 price tag (currently on offer at £6 on Amazon) has scores of five star reviews from shoppers.
The gel is said to soothe and prevent chafing by forming a breathable layer on your skin. It comes with an anti-friction formula, which dries on contact, and provides long lasting relief all summer long.
"Lanacane Anti-Chafing Gel forms a breathable barrier on your skin to prevent and aid healing of chafing caused by repeated rubbing of skin on skin or on clothing," reads the product description. "Unique anti-friction formula dries on contact, clear, non-greasy, providing your skin with long lasting relief."
It adds: "Fragrance-free, non-staining and gentle enough to use anywhere, everyday."
Amazon has hundreds of four and five star reviews for the anti-chafing gel, with shoppers praising the cream as a 'must-have'.
One person wrote: "This stuff is a life saver for chaffing. Only need to use a little but on the area and it holds up through sweat and all sorts. I would recommend to any body who struggles wearing drrsses or skirts with no bottoms because of chaffing. It is my summer and holiday must have!"
"I love this product. The tube is a decent size and lasted us a 2 week holiday. We bought it to take to Disney world in case of chub rub. It is a light gel and goes on easily and makes the skin feel silky and stoops the chaffing," reviewed a second.
Some shoppers did point out that the cream dissolved off their skin after heavy sweating, but were still impressed with the results.
Another leaving a five star review added: "Really does a great job. A small amount goes a long way, not only soothing chaffed skin but also creating a barrier that stops chaffing for a good hour of exercise (possibly more). heavy sweating can dissolve it after a while, but I have been very impressed."
