MAC's Christmas Advent Calendar Is Here And We'll Be Needing It ASAP

If chocolate, gin or cheese advent calendars aren't your thing, then perhaps MAC's beauty advent will be more to your liking?

We'll take that as a solid YES.

Lucky then that the much-loved beauty brand is bringing back its Christmas calendar for 2019, after the roaring success of last year's debut.

And dare we say, this year's iteration - chicly named 'Starring You' - may even have topped the 2018 one.

Coming in a unique star shape and featuring 24 tempting doors, the calendar will include £265 worth of MAC products for just £129, including cult classics from Velvet Teddy lipstick to the brand's Strobe Cream in Pinklite.

We may have just dribbled.

Considering last year's cost £125 for £236 worth of products, this one is more of a bargain too.

We are so, so, on board.

News of the calendar comes alongside the announcement of the brand's 2019 holiday collection, set to launch on 24th October.

The range includes the almost-too-pretty-to-use Fireworks Drama Blast Lipstick Collection: frosted lipsticks carved with stars in five seriously amazing shades including Kiss of Stars, Destined for Stardom, Asterisk, Walk of Flame and Star Struck.

If you're a highlighter obsessive you're in luck too, because two new opalescent powders are on their way including Rising Star and Shooting Star in orange and purple tones.

Plus, it wouldn't be the party season without sassy new lip glosses (aka Lip Glass) or shimmering eyeshadows (the new Spellbinder Shadow collection features four gorgeous sparkly shades).

MAC has also catered to the generous gifters, adding gift sets, makeup bags, brush kits and more to their shimmery offering.

Probably the holy grail of lipstick gifts comes in the form of MAC's Collector Of The Stars lipstick kit.

The kit features ten gorgeous lippies in different shades. How AMAZING would it be to receive this on Christmas morning?
