Prices for products by US based skin care brand Drunk Elephant will be slashed for UK customers after the brand decided to 'adjust their prices'.

After the brand launched in the UK, beauty fans were quick to realise that the prices of the products in the UK were considerably more than if you were to buy them in the US.

This morning, stockist Space NK released a statement to reveal it would be adjusting their Drunk Elephant prices 'accordingly' because of the brand 'reducing its suggested retail price for the UK market'.

They also said that any customers who had bought Drunk Elephant products from them in the past three weeks will be automatically refunded the price difference within 28 days, through their original payment method.

Cult Beauty founder Alexia Inge confirmed they would be doing the same in a comment on a post shared on the Estee Laundry Instagram account.

She explained: "It's quite a process after three weeks of sales so please bear with us. We will make sure everyone is refunded the difference in the next month.

"I'm really glad Drunk Elephant decided to do this. It's the right thing to do to give us Brits price parity with the rest of the world."

Previously, the UK prices simply coincided with the US prices, so if something was $70 it would be £70 here, which is about £16 more than the conversion rate.

There really is a massive difference in the prices, Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil is now £61 instead of £72 and The Littles kit, which has mini versions of the best sellers, is just £71 instead of £90!

If you aren't familiar with Drunk Elephant, the brand was set up by was set up in 2013 by Tiffany Masterson.

Tiffany refers to the products as 'clean-clinical' because they use powerful natural combining them with high quality, extensively researched synthetic ingredients at a healthy pH balance so that the skin can readily utilise and absorb.
