In the age of cut-creases, contour kits and YouTube tutorials, it's easier than ever to become a beauty expert.

But that's not the case for everyone, and try as we might, attempting a smoky eye can often leave us looking more sleepy panda than makeup pro.

Luckily, a new product has landed to offer a lending (steady) hand, as stick-on eyeshadow has arrived in the UK.

Majic Beauty's Eye Majic Instant Eyeshadow is already a major hit in the US and now it's available on Amazon for a very reasonable £5.99 for a pack of five. The range comes with 13 different eye shades, ranging from a neutral brown smoky eye to disco-ready purple.

To use, you simply place the eyeshadow sticker on your eyelid, hold for 10 seconds, and peel off to reveal a flawless smoky eye. Easy-peasy and ideal for anyone in a rush in the morning. Did we mention it takes TEN seconds to work?

Majic Beauty promises its Instant Eyeshadow will "eliminate all the stress of brushes, jars and, messy containers of colours" and that women who have never used eyeshadow before can "get the same results as any professional" - a tall claim, but the reviews speak for themselves.

One reviewer explained she's not a natural at eye makeup, so decided to give instant eyeshadow a whirl for the first time.

"I'm not great at applying eye shadow the normal way so thought I'd give this a go for a night out as really wanted a smokey [sic] eye look but whenever I do it myself I end up looking as though I've got into a fight," she wrote in an Amazon review.

Explaining the process, she said: "I placed the eyeshadow pad on my eyelid and very gently held it there for around 5 seconds then gently swept the pad outward and slightly upwards and lifted it up.

"I was pleasently [sic] surprised I hadn't made a mess of it and it hardly needed much blending at all," she said saying she would be buying more colours from the range.

Another reviewer explained that the instant eyeshadow pads were ideal from streamlining her mornings, saying, "Running late for work with only a few minutes to spare, I applied the eyeshadow by watching the video," before saying it lasted her all day.

For another happy customer, the product ewas recommended to her by her friend who is a porfessional makeup artist. She said: "I had sooo [sic] many compliments on a night out and this literally took me 2 mins! It's so easy to apply!!"

Will you be giving stick-on eyeshadow a go?
