With lockdown seeing all our favourite clothes shops forced to close, we had to get our new garms from the internet - with varying results.

While we did try and be a little more sustainable and shop second-hand, there are some items we spotted for sale that did make us wonder what on Earth is going on inside some people's brains.

Take this pair of 'distressed' jeans available on Depop, for example.

Posted on popular Twitter account 'Depop Drama', which shares some of the funniest and most WTF? moments from the second-hand selling app, fashionistas were left puzzled by just how ripped this pair of Levi's were.

While having the odd tear or two in a pair of jeans is fairly on-trend right now, this pink pair looks like they've been caught in a blender.

Described by the seller as being "hand-distressed", the Levi's were set for sale on Depop for an eye-watering $120 - the equivalent of around £86.

Are they joking?

Perhaps even more shockingly is that 38 people had 'liked' the super-shredded jeans - which could even serve as an indicator in being interested to buy them.

Thankfully, many others on Twitter saw the jeans and agreed they were nothing short of ridiculous - with the picture quickly racking up 121,000 likes.

"Can someone find these pants and ask the seller to try them on, I wanna see what they look like on someone so badly," wrote one person.

"This photo is so triggering," a second said.

"Were these jeans chewed on by piranhas because oh my God," a third agreed. "They look like they're one stretch away from someone looking like they're ready for a nude beach."

"Those jeans aren't distressed, they're traumatised," a fourth added, while a fifth said: "How tf are you supposed to put your legs in?"

It's a firm no from us.

In other 'unusual' fashion news, Tommy Fury has been spotted modelling Aldi merch once again - this time, it's their new sliders.
