'Twas the night before Christmas - well, actually, it's still a couple of months away, but Vans is releasing a Nightmare Before Christmas collection in time for you to don on Halloween at least.

The special ten-piece footwear collection, inspired by Tim Burton's Disney film, will land online and in store on 4th October.

The line will depict key characters and moments from the film, giving fans the chance to snap up some trainers, as well as apparel and accessories with artistry from the cult Christmas classic.

Up for grabs is Sk8-Hi trainers, with each of its four panels picturing a snapshot from one of the most iconic scenes in the movie, where Jack Skellington walks through the Halloween town's cemetery, complete with the words 'Nice Work, Bone Daddy' inside.

Other characters have been printed onto the rucksacks, slip-on trainers, caps and socks from the collection too, from Sally to The Pumpkin King and Oogie Boogie's trio of henchmen - Lock, Shock and Barrel - as well as typical Halloween prints from bats to skulls.
