This Genius Hack Promises To Get Rid Of All The Creases In Your Trainers

This Genius Hack Promises To Get Rid Of All The Creases In Your Trainers

Let's be honest, keeping your best pair of trainers looking brand spanking new is pretty much a full-time job. But all true perfectionists will know that no matter how much you clean your sneaks, you still can't get rid of those god damn crease lines.

Well, fear not trainer lovers - because a new hack has gone viral, basically solving all of our problems and allowing us to have that new trainer feeling every day.

The hack, which was delivered to us by genius Twitter user Shantel Dé Bonsu, involves some socks, a small towel, an iron and some hot water, and before you know it, your trainers are looking brand spanking new.

As Shantel explains in the thread, the first step is to stuff the trainers with socks, to the point where you've straightened out all the creases that've formed. Then, you need to wet the small towel with hot water, and squeeze out all the water so it's simply damp. Next you pop the warm, damp towel on top of the crease.

Lastly, you need to iron the towel "but be sure to keep lifting the iron up or you'll burn your shoe," she points out. "Depending how bad the crease is determines the time in which it will take to get rid of the crease."

And there you have it - life hack 101.
