We've seen some rather whacky fashion trends in our time, from the resurgence of Crocs to the release of fluffy Ugg sandals.
But we might have just seen the most bizarre new trend of all: the baguette handbag.
From designer Moschino, the bag looks exactly like a long french baguette which opens up so that your belongings fit neatly inside, almost like a sandwich filling.

And it'll cost you £780 to purchase... because, really, what else could your wardrobe be crying out for?!
The baguette bag is leather with a three-dimensional baguette design imposed onto it, and also has a gold plated Moschino logo on it, a brown lined interior and a magnetic seal.
On designer retail site Farfetch, the brand teases: "Stroll down the Seine (or the supermarket) with this Baguette clutch while you pick out the best wine choice for dinner.

"And maybe some real bread."
Taking to social media after spotting what is possibly the most expensive 'bread' on the internet, Facebook user Darren Dempsey wrote: "Over 750 quid tae go on a night out [with] a foot long baguette tae f*ck (sic)".
And his post soon went viral, amassing almost 2000 'shares' and over 400 comments from equally bemused individuals.
"Fashion these days," someone wrote under the image.

While another penned: "Nah I'm howling".
A third joked: "Needs some ham and cheese on that".
While many more bemused Facebook users tagged their friends in the comments.
Moschino are known for their quirky designs - especially when it comes to bags.

The Italian luxury fashion house famously also sell a handbag that looks like a cigarette lighter, a clutch bag which looks like a piece of birthday cake and - our personal fave - a bag that looks like a pizza box.
The brand is also famed for selling clothing inspired by the McDonald's logo, in what Vogue dub "a mutant hybrid of Ronald McDonald and Coco Chanel".
Whatever you think of Moschino's baguette bag, it's sure to turn heads.

We think we'll stick to actually bread, though, tbh...
