With summer officially over and the nights drawing to a close, you will soon be thinking about snuggling up in front of the telly ready to binge watch series after series on Netflix with a hot chocolate warming your hands while the rain lashes down outside.

So if you want to make things extra cosy this autumn, Matalan has launched matching pyjamas for the entire family that will have you starry eyed. Even better, it is all for a great cause.

The affordable high-street store is selling jim-jams with multicoloured stars printed all over in support of Alder Hey Children's Charity.

Former Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt is leading the campaign, alongside the staff and patients at Alder Hay, who you can find out more about here.

Matalan's nightwear won't break the bank either as prices for the children's pyjamas start at £8, and the adults come with an affordable £12 price tag.

The whole family can get involved in the matching nightwear too, as Matalan also has pieces for your pets for £5, ranging from small to large.

There are also sleepsuits for the little ones, with sizes starting at tiny baby up to 23 months. Children's pyjamas are in sizes two to 13, and adults go from XS to XXL.

Matalan has covered all bases with this collection too, as the brand is also selling bedding to match the jim-jams, and prices are cheap as chips.

A single bed cover and pillow case in the starry design will set you back £12, and a double comes with a £16 price tag.

Matalan is donating 100 per cent of the profits from this collection to Alder Hay Children's Charity, and money raised will also be used to support research and purchase specialist medical equipment.

The charity raises vital funds to help Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool support the 275,000 patients and families it cares for every year.
