How do you like yours? Plucked? Threaded? Microbladed, perhaps? Eyebrows seem to be the beauty obsession du jour, but the latest trend is like something from outer space... literally.
Behold: Moon brows! A far cry from the pencil-thin lines of the ninetees (RIP), curvaceous, lunar-inspired sweeps like this are bold enough to give even Cara a run for her money.
Modelled here by Hayley Bui (Instagram influencer and founder of Hayley Cosmetics), these sweeping crescents hang around her eye like a moon cradling a handful of stars. So. Damn. Pretty.
A word of warning, though, for anyone thinking of legging it to their nearest Superdrug for a tube of eyebrow bleach: these beautiful brows have actually been created on Photoshop. They're the handy work of 20-year-old Stefan James, owner of modelling agency Skyz.
Speaking to UNILAD, James said that he came up with the now Insta-famous moon brows when Bui (who also happens to be a close friend of his) mentioned her love of the moon.
"I actually worked with one of my close friends Hayley Bui to create the idea. She loves the moon and she and her fiance Eric both have matching tattoos of moons. I just turned it into a [sic] eyebrow style as editing is my thing.
James is clearly onto something, because a quick scroll through Instagram reveals his moon brows are all the rage amongst the beauty crowd - although not all the feedback has been positive.
He added that "[The brows have] had a crazy mixed reaction, some people love it and some hate it. I just created the edits for fun but it's insane to see the nasty comments from people who are against it."
His message to the haters? "We're living in a new era and being creative and thinking outside the box is probably one of the best things." Hear hear, James.
Don't fancy yourself as much of a Photoshop whizz? There's no reason you can't pick up an eyebrow pen and try these looks yourself at home. Do go easy on the bleach, mind.
