Giant Backpacks Are The Most Bizarre Trend Entering 2019
Last year saw its fair share of bizarre fashion trends from denim thongs to puffer jacket dresses, but the trends look set to continue into the new year in form of giant backpacks.
Yep, the teeny tiny backpack trend has been and gone, and in its place is a gigantic version.
Apparently these bad boys made by CWF, are all the rage in Japan - although we're not entirely sure if they'll quite take off here in the UK.
The unusually large bags are big enough to reach past your knees so you'd never be lost for space, but we don't fancy trying to find our keys in among all that.
Considering the sheer amount of material required to make these humongous bags, it'll come as no surprise that they're a little pricier than your average backpack, retailing at around £190, and that's before you factor in the cost of shipping it over from Japan.
If the giant bag isn't enough to tickle your fancy on the bizarre fashion front then we suggest you check out these fried chicken drum stick pants, which have got to be up there with the strangest trends to grace 2018.
Perhaps there is some truth in the saying 'you are what you eat,' after all.
Sold by Amazon retailer CieKen for just £5.50 ($6.99) the pants are available in sizes small to extra large so there is a size for everyone.
The description online reads: "The most chic Chicken leg pants - very popular in Instagram and Facebook.
"It reminds me of the KFC Chicken leg. You can look like carrots, crispy chips or the back of a horse, etc. All you can imagine.

"Consider getting two of them, one for yourself and one for your best friend, it is a surprise gift for your friends or family on Thanksgiving day.
"There are very few types of outfits that any one of us can carry perfectly but harem pants are surely one of them, Harem pants with Sneakers is one of the most simple, comfortable outfits."
