Footwear company Bedroom Athletics is looking to recruit an official 'slipper tester' to trial its new Autumn/Winter range - and guess what? You could earn up to £40,000 a year for your hard work.
It's tough at the top alright.
The chosen tester will be gifted a range of slippers, with requirements to give the team at Bedroom Athletics regular feedback in the form of reviews, assessments and ratings.
Testers will be required to wear their slippers for at least 12 hours during a 24-hour period and will be remunerated with two days' worth of work per month based on a £40k a year salary.
As well as offering honest opinions on style and comfort of its new range of slippers, Bedroom Athletics said that the new 'slipper tester' will need to ensure the latest collection can keep customers feet and toes as warm as possible during the colder months.
Discussing the search, Howard Wetter, Director of www.bedroomathletics.com, said: "Being paid to do nothing but wear slippers all day might seem like a fairly trivial job, but it's extremely important to us here that our products are of optimum comfort for those choosing to order from our website.
"We therefore believe that welcoming an official brand tester to our team will be invaluable in gaining insight and feedback for the continual improvement of our slippers."
Adding: "The applicant taking on the role will be required to wear and feedback on such items as our classic faux fur slipper boots, memory foam slippers, classic mule slippers and moccasin designs.
"We want each and every one of our slippers to be as comfortable, warm and luxurious as the next.
"Members of the public who often get cold feet would be perfect candidates, especially as we head into the colder months, as we want to make sure we're keeping all our customers toes cosy during winter," he concluded.
The online retailer, which specialises in indoor footwear and loungewear, added that students, stay-at-home mums and those working from home are all ideal candidates.
