Winter is officially upon us and if the weather stays this chilly, you probably should invest in an ultra cosy coat to see you through the season.

But before you spend hours shopping online for the perfect one, Everlane's ReNew jacket has just come into stock.

As well as being super stylish, it is also seriously snug, proven by its 38,000 person waiting list.

The extra puffy version comes in four different colours - black, lilac, mustard and khaki - ranging from sizes XXS to XL.

Everlane's jackets are made from exactly 32 renewed plastic bottles, meaning you can feel stylish and do your bit for the environment too.

The only part that isn't made from recycled fabric is the zippers and trim, although the fashion brand hopes that it will be very soon.

"Our coziest solution to winter-and to plastic waste," reads the product description. "This extra-puffy puffer has a boxy, relaxed fit, a big hood, roomy pockets, and a hidden drawstring waist to cinch in warmth."

Everlane adds: "Plus, it's made entirely from our technical, 100% recycled fabric and filled with 100% recycled, high-performance Primaloft insulation.

"Only the zippers and trim aren't. Turns out those can't currently be sourced in recycled materials. We're working on it."

The jacket costs £125.70 ($160) and seeing as how much wear you'll get out of it, the price might be quite affordable. While there's free postage to the UK, there is a £25 ($32) customs fee to take into account.

If the huge wait list is anything to go by, you shouldn't wait around if you are tempted by one of these coats as you don't want to be left disappointed.

Everlane also has a number of other pieces in its Renew collection, including fleecy jumpers and thinner puffer jackets for the slightly warmer months.
