Parents, listen up. Clarks has guaranteed you won't have to buy a new pair of shoes for your little one until February 2021.
Yep, the high street shoe shop is so sure that its fitting system is the real deal that it's offering any kid who grows out of a pair of its shoes before February 28th the opportunity to swap them in store for free.

The deal applies to all full price back to school kids shoes, so you can use it when buying boots, plimsolls and sports shoes.
Sounds pretty sweet to us.
There are some exceptions, of course.
Advert
Firstly, don't go running to Clarks with your child's scraggly old school shoes from two years ago.
You're only allowed to swap shoes that have been bought between July 13th and September 14th this year, and the shoes must have been fitted by a trained Clarks fitter in store - meaning no online orders will be counted.
Secondly, you can only swap a shoe if it's infant size 10 and above, and you'll have from the date of purchase until February 28th next year.
If you're buying infant sizes seven to nine and a half, the deal will run for slightly less time - until November 30th 2020 - you know, because little kids' feet grow quicker, and all.
And if you want to swap a pair of shoes, you'll need to show your receipt at the counter (naturally).

Then, a Clarks fitter will measure the old shoes against your child and confirm that they no longer fit, before permitting them to pick a new pair.
You only have until the specified date (either November 30th or February 28th) to return the shoes to swap, and no swaps will be authorised after these dates.
Plus, you can only get a pair of shoes that are the same price as the old pair.
