When the Disney x Cath Kidston partnership was first announced back in June 2016, it kicked off with a collaborative collection featuring Winnie the Pooh and his friends to coincide with the A. A. Milne book's 90th anniversary. It seems fitting then that the much-loved accessories brand would finish the partnership with a final collection featuring the world's most loveable bear.

Information on the collection is sparse right now, other than it's launching on the 22nd August for just two weeks only. But if it's anything like the original we can expect womenswear, bags, homeware and kidswear created from the book's original character illustrations.

Sharing the news on Instagram with a post saying: "Surprise! We're bringing back one of our favourite characters for our LAST EVER #DisneyXCathKidston collection! Join Winnie-the-Pooh and friends on Thursday 22nd August for a bittersweet celebration", fans of the brand have been getting very excited.

"This was my favourite collection, but I'm sad it'll be the last!" said one follower, with another commenting "this makes me SO happy!!!!!".

The original Winnie the Pooh collection was followed up with a sellout Mickey and Minnie Mouse, 101 Dalmatians, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White and Bambi collections, plus a special collection to celebrate Mickey Mouse's 90th anniversary.

The most recent collection to launch from the collaboration was a Jungle Book themed range back in May which featured six new hand-drawn prints across fashion, accessories, home and kids.

The main print, 'Jungle Flowers', was seen across dresses, skirts, a pac-a-mac, bags and kidswear featuring Bagheera and the gang with a tropical twist.

While we're pretty devastated that the Cath Kidston x Disney collaboration will be no more, it's safe to say we'll be snapping up the Winnie collection so it can live on in our memories forever more.
