ASOS Is Selling See-Through Trousers And You're Going To Need To Wax

If you're going 'out out' then wearing trousers is usually seen as the 'easy' option. Shave your legs? Why bother.Fake tan? From the ankle down only - and that's if you're wearing sandals.

But there's a new trend emerging that could mean wearing trousers requires as much beauty prep as a trip to the beach: ASOS is selling see-through trousers and we're worried about the hours it'll add on to getting ready for a night out.

The 'sheer organza combat trousers in white' come from Flounce London and cost £40, via ASOS.

Don't get me wrong: they're a thing of beauty. They're made of "smooth, crisp organza" and are "wafer-thin and sheer as you like" - they're like a wedding veil for your legs - except a hell of a lot sexier.

The trousers have a leg-lengthening, high-rise waist and are designed for those days that "call for a little extra" (we assume ASOS means extra effort, because the coverage they offer is certainly less than usual).

They also feature side pockets - but don't stuff your snotty tissues in there or try to sneak tampons while en route to the loo, because: transparent.

One person who had spotted the trousers on ASOS tweeted: "I love ASOS but why on earth would you wear that?"

To which another Twitter user replied: "Might as well wear clingfilm."

Feeling the clingfilm vibes are your thing? Why not wear in on your big day? Naked wedding dresses are set to be the biggest fashion trend for brides walking down the aisle in 2019.

What a woman wears on her wedding day is meant to make her feel amazing, confident and ready to conquer that walk down the aisle and this new naked trend is both bold and beautiful.

And fashion forecasters are predicting that sheer fabrics, lace and flesh-toned linings will be brides' top choices this year.

Grace Loves Lace, the brand who created the most pinned wedding dress in the world with 2.5 million pins, has reported a rise in the per cent of brides choosing something nude.

The brand reported that it saw a 30 per cent rise in brides choosing a more sheer dress.

Founder Meghan Ziems told ELLE: "It is an easy way to add another fashion element to your gown and highlight the lace detail.

"Brides these days realise that dressing as a bride shouldn't be a restrictive or rule-driven process - it's actually an extension of your normal style and it's your opportunity to show your best self and your unique self.

"Plus, it's that one opportunity you have to truly experiment with your style and express it through a gown you will only wear once.

"So a lot of that boldness and individuality comes out as they design their perfect day, they in a way get to design the dress with us too."

However, if you're not ready for the trend, Meghan explained that instead of opting for a naked wedding dress, you can go for a more barely-there style by ditching the flesh-toned lining.

She said: "Whilst the nude-tone lining can certainly attract everyone, the women wanting a fresh and more minimal look will still lean toward the ivory/white linings.

"The nude-tone lining is definitely for the more adventurous and untraditional woman and also a great second dress option for the reception or after party."
