Selena Gomez has designed a special bikini that hides her kidney transplant scar, in collaboration with a new swimwear line.
The 26-year-old singer and actress has teamed up with brand new swimwear line, Krahs, founded by one of her best friends, Theresa Marie Mingus.
Krahs (that's shark spelled backwards) hasn't launched yet, but it has released an introductory video which sees Selena and Theresa sit down for a chat.

"I did have a really good time designing," Selena says in the video. "It was fun."
Selena explains that one of her designs was created with the intention of covering the kidney transplant scar on her lower abdomen - something that brings her insecurity.
"The design I did, one of them, it was the high waisted one with the belt," she explains. "I've had a kidney transplant and I like bathing suits that kind of cover where that's been and make me feel comfortable."
We are yet to get a full look at the red bikini featuring high-waisted bottoms that Selena has designed, but if it's anything like the Baywatch-worthy swims teased on Khars Instagram page, we're keen.

Selena's design will no doubt be a hit with people who are also insecure due to lower-tummy scars, which can only be a good thing.
In September 2017, Selena revealed she'd had surgery for a kidney transplant she needed due to her lupus diagnosis. Her donor was best friend and actress Francia Raísa.
Sharing the news with fans on Instagram, Selena said describe Francia's sacrifice as "the ultimate gift".

"There aren't words to describe how I can possibly thank my beautiful friend Francia Raísa," she wrote. "I am incredibly blessed, I love you so much, sis."
