Woman Sent Home In Uber After Date Didn't Like Her Outfit

We've all got that one date to tell the grandchildren about... and not in a good way.

Bad outings with potential partners are all part and parcel of life. Whether it was a sad date, bad date or downright embarrassing date, a rendezvous that goes wrong is nothing to be ashamed of.

Which is why one TikToker's followers rallied around her as she confessed to having the date from hell. Ladies, if you're reading this, it's time to recognise your worth!

Content creator Nikki Jabs (@nikki.jabs) documented the sad situation from beginning-to-end. She even filmed herself straight after being rejected by the offending man, in the outfit he apparently disliked.

"I spent 40 min on my makeup to meet his friends and coworkers at a grand opening for the retail company he works for", she said.

"He was too embarrassed to be seen with me in this outfit, so he sent me home in an Uber and went to the opening without me".

One worried commenter asked her to "plz tell me this is a joke...", but Nikki responded with a teary recount of the story later that evening.

"I'm just so sad because I spent so much time trying to look pretty", she admitted. "And he sent me home in an Uber".

She continued to vent, "who does that? He sent me home with a stranger on a Friday night".

Commenters picked up on the anonymous date's worrying behaviour, reassuring the TikToker that he simply wasn't right for her.

"Remember: this is him in the beginning", one person said. "This is him on his best behaviour. Run".

"There's going to be an apology and begging [...] You're beautiful and you deserve so much more!!" said a second.

"This is a BLESSING he showed his true colours this early [sic]" a third comforted.

Thankfully, Nikki updated her followers saying she hadn't seen him since, and has so far ignored his attempts to apologise.

"I packed up and left while he was at the work function", she said.
