We're starting to get our Halloween costumes ready which means going shopping to get the perfect accessories for our outfits.

But this picture of an open would sleeve from a fancy dress store? We're not sure whether this will complete our look in the way we would hope.

After the picture of the $5.99 (£4.40)Halloween prop was shared on Twitter, users have replied saying that the open would actually looks like something more NSFW.

One tweeter simply stated, "bro that looks more like a vagina then a wound sleeve".

Another injected a bit of humour by asking: "2 replies; No way this is real And How did they get a picture of my vagina?!?!"

Someone else charmingly put: "That sh*t looking like some cooch".

However, the main response from Twitter users was just genuine shock.

Somebody else noted its aptitude for Halloween celebrations: "Scariest thing I’ve seen all year".

Others were more shocked at the price tag though: "why is it 6 dollars bit of a rip off".

"i’m done w everything lmao", said another person who couldn't cope anymore after seeing this shocker.

Many people have seemed to agree with a fact that one tweeter pointed out: "That's a big gash."

Hmmm, don't think this is going in our shopping basket for Halloween.

Another Halloween product that causes controversy was a 'Karen' costume.

Posting on Twitter, one person shared a photo of the costume, writing: "I don’t like how they’re profiting from the very real issue of racism."

The costume appears to include a woman's wig and a pair of sunglasses. Over the last couple of years, the name 'Karen' has become associated with a white woman who behaves in a privileged manner, demanding to speak to the manager when dissatisfied with service and often seen as those who enjoy talking down to people or belittling service staff.

It also has connotations with racism and was used regularly in the aftermath of the Black Lives Matter protests, which saw videos being posted of white women reporting Black, Asian and minority ethnic people to the police for no reason.

With the Karen costume being sold online, social media users are accusing the creators of "trying to make racist white women into a quirky character".
