This Morning viewers were left in tears yesterday when the recipient of Dosh At Your Doorstep made an emotional confession.
Heather, 40, was Tuesday's winner and was handed an £1,000 prize by a beaming Alison Hammond.
You can watch the emotional video below.
But the moment took a gut-wrenching turn when Heather revealed she had three months to live, and planned to use the money to throw a goodbye party.
Heather told Alison: "I got diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019, I then got the all clear just before my 40th birthday, I thought things were getting back to normal, I then got told I had brain mets, so now I am getting myself organised.
"I have been told I've got three months to live, so I am going to have a "wake me up before I go, go" party, a party before my passing".
The ITV presenter asked: "How do you continue to be upbeat for your sons and your husband?"
"Because there is no point moping," Heather replied. "It is what it is, if I mope it won't help my family, my husband or my children.
'So I am in auto-mode at the moment".
Alison then went on and did the quiz as usual, and Heather managed to bag herself the money.
After the clip aired, This Morning's Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield brightened Heather's day a little further, by revealing they were gifting her an extra £1,000.
Touchingly, Heather also received over 10,000 more Instagram followers on her cancer journey page after the TV clip aired.
Taking to social media, people were clearly touched by the scenes, with one writing: "Just watched the lovely lady Heather winning the Dosh on your Doorstep.. what an inspirational woman she is.. I'm in bits after that please send her all our love and strength".
While another penned: "Just caught up with today's This Morning and sobbing doesn't come close! HOW does this woman have such a positive attitude! Enjoy your party Heather #thismorning"
"Heather is a true inspiration what a beautiful lady #ThisMorning," someone else said.
As a fellow new fan wrote: "I was filling up watching you on this morning! Such an amazing woman, sending strength, love and light to you. Enjoy that party!!! Xxx".
To add the the special moment, Heather also got a message from music legend, Craig David.
Putting a statement on Instagram last night, a clearly flattered Heather wrote: "Hi everybody. I just want to say I am absolutely overwhelmed by the support that I've had since dosh on your doorstep.
"Lots of people are asking if I have a Go Fund Me page so my sister has set one up".
You can donate to Heather's Go Fund Me here, with all proceeds going "to help her in her final few months of life, and to help her boys after she's gone."
