This Morning viewers were left in tears yesterday when the recipient of Dosh At Your Doorstep made an emotional confession.

Heather, 40, was Tuesday's winner and was handed an £1,000 prize by a beaming Alison Hammond.

You can watch the emotional video below.

But the moment took a gut-wrenching turn when Heather revealed she had three months to live, and planned to use the money to throw a goodbye party.

Heather told Alison: "I got diagnosed with breast cancer in 2019, I then got the all clear just before my 40th birthday, I thought things were getting back to normal, I then got told I had brain mets, so now I am getting myself organised.

"I have been told I've got three months to live, so I am going to have a "wake me up before I go, go" party, a party before my passing".

The ITV presenter asked: "How do you continue to be upbeat for your sons and your husband?"

"Because there is no point moping," Heather replied. "It is what it is, if I mope it won't help my family, my husband or my children.

'So I am in auto-mode at the moment".

Alison then went on and did the quiz as usual, and Heather managed to bag herself the money.

Taking to social media, people were clearly touched by the scenes, with one writing: "Just watched the lovely lady Heather winning the Dosh on your Doorstep.. what an inspirational woman she is.. I'm in bits after that please send her all our love and strength".

While another penned: "Just caught up with today's This Morning and sobbing doesn't come close! HOW does this woman have such a positive attitude! Enjoy your party Heather #thismorning"
