Tilly Lockey from County Durham appeared on Wednesday's This Morning with her mum to prove that despite losing her lower forearms, hands and fingers along with the tips of her toes at just 15 months old, she has zero limits.

The 13-year-old explained on the ITV chat show that she is learning to master all the current glam trends with the bionic arms which work when her brain send messages to the muscles in her arms.

"I'm like any average teen girl, I love to do make-up," explained Tilly, before adding: "It's something that I'm really passionate about and I want to inspire others who are different."

While Tilly admitted that it hasn't been easy learning how use her arms to apply her make-up, she explained that her strong will and "dedication" saw her through. The teenager has even learned how to apply it without her bionic hands.

With her positivity shining through, Tilly told hosts Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes: "I've had 12 years to adapt and make my own way in life. I can do lots of things including my makeup without my hands but it's more fun to do it with them."

"Tilly is an inspiration to beating meningitis. I remember seeing her get her arms, strong young lady right there," shared another viewer.
