Meet The Twelve New 'Love Island' Contestants About To Shake Up The Villa

The Love Island villa is set for a major overhaul this week as the legendary Casa Amor makes its much-anticipated return.

The 'secret' second abode has been a highlight of previous series with the show's male contestants typically getting moved to the separate residence - complete with a new set of ladies to test their loyalties.

This year, though, we're in for some serious drama with a mixture of 12 male and female bombshells - and they've got no qualms about treading on the toes of some of the most loved-up couples when they descend on the villa on Friday night.

Here's all you need to know about each of the new faces...

If anyone's set to be the next Dani Dyer, it's this blonde Belle. Like last year's winner, her dad is a famous face in the form of actor Tamer Hassan. In fact, Tamer starred alongside Dani's father Danny in The Football Factory. "He is like a best friend and is always there for me. He'd told me to be myself but has also warned me 'I'm watching and I'm going to be seeing every detail!' Belle explains.

"I would give myself a solid 8 or 9 [out of ten]. I get a lot of compliments on my eyes and my boobs," continues the make-up artist who has her eye on Anton and thinks Tom and Tommy are gorgeous.

"I'm fun, funny and I'm flirty. Hopefully I'll liven things up a bit and make everyone laugh," she adds.

Michael, Danny, Jordan and "beautiful" Tom all do it for this model and social media star who's featured in Elle and Vogue Italia and boasts over 282,000 Instagram followers.

She's prepared to "do what she's got to do" to get the guy she wants in the villa. "If I have a connection and we get on more, I have to do it. I'll never be disrespectful though," she reveals.

Jourdan reckons she can be impulsive, impatient and stubborn but also a good listener who's big on loyalty. "I'm all about energy and having good vibes," she explains.

She thinks she'll be pally with Lucie and Maura saying she "loves them both."

It looks like Anton's got himself another admirer. "With Anton I find his personality so attractive and he's got banter, so I think we'd connect. Tom is my type and what I usually go for looks-wise so I'm hoping his personality matches his good looks," says Joanna who is England footballer Ben Chilwell's ex.

There's no fakery where she's involved - Joanna reckons her "overly honest" personality sometimes gets her in trouble and that she'll get on best with Molly-Mae and Amber. "We're both straight up," she says of the latter.

And as for breaking up the existing couples? "At the end of the day, we are all in the villa for the same reason - to meet someone - so sometimes you might have to tread on toes," Joanna remarks.

Things could get shaken up for Michael and Amber with the arrival of Lavena who rates herself a "five times two out of ten."

While she has her eye on Tom, Danny and Anton, she says if she had her pick, she'd go for Michael "but she feels like he's really coupled up."

"I'd say maybe Amber is my biggest competition. We have a similar look," continues Lavena who has starred in several music videos and counts last year's contestant Jack Fowler as her celebrity crush.

Having been on her own for four years, she says she is very much in Majorca to find love: "It's not Friend Island. I'm not afraid to say it how it is."

"Treading on toes" also isn't an issue for this self-styled "Arabian Princess" who claims she's a "quick-witted all-rounder who gets on with everyone."

"I don't think they [the contestants] are 'in relationships' really yet. As long as I make it clear I like someone, then I don't think it'd be that hard to get a guy," Nabila comments.

Anton's caught her eye - "he's cheeky and misunderstood by girls in the villa" - and she thinks she'll make friends with Maura.

"I am loyal but it is a game show. You get to know so many people in a short space of time," Nabila adds.

Things are set to get a little more steamy with the entrance of Maria who says she likes Lucie and Maura best because "the other girls are acting like they don't talk about sex."

Anton better watch out. "When I first saw him, I wasn't attracted to him but now I've watched him and got to know him, he's funny and sweet," says Maria who's best pals with 2017 contestant Danielle Sellers.

And looks aren't a "massive thing" for the nightclub worker who says her "natural" lips are her best feature and calls herself "clingy, emotional and loving." "Once I'm attached to someone, I'm very much attached," she reveals.

Stevie Bradley, 21, a student from Isle of Man

Happy chappy Stevie bills himself as a "cheerful, charming, funny bloke" who admits he hasn't been on many dates.

His celebrity crush is Lucy Watson from Made in Chelsea but in the villa, he's got the serious hots for Lucie: "She seems really sweet and down to earth. She would be my number one."

"I probably would have a wandering eye in the villa but my head wouldn't turn from someone I felt I had a proper spark with, I wouldn't ruin anything by jumping ship," Stevie adds.

Marvin Brooks, 29, a personal trainer and ex-Royal Navy officer from Bournemouth

Not everyone's set to get on with Harry Redknapp's PT Marvin. "Danny might be a bit boring and Curtis irritates me," he reveals.

And confidence certainly isn't an issue for him. "I am strongly opinionated and very competitive. I've always been good at sports and without sounding big headed I've always done OK with the opposite sex, so coming up against the other good looking lads will definitely test me.

"I would say I'm ambitious, cultured and loyal," continues Marvin who rates Anna and Lucie.

"My type I've always said is brunette. Anna has definitely caught my eye but then recently Lucie has as I feel like she's very similar to me in the sense that if she doesn't want to hang around with a group she won't force herself to."

This pro sportsman, who reckons he's "not bad-looking at all," has Tommy down as his biggest competition.

Lucie and Maura are on his hotlist and he says he's not going to hold back when it comes to getting a girl. "I don't really know any of the boys in there. If I knew them as friends, I wouldn't pursue people but I don't know them so I have no loyalties," Dennon explains.

He's admitted to having cheated in the past but says he's "funny, energetic and has decent banter."

George Rains, 22, a builder from Essex

Kim Kardashian fan and fitness obsessive George has Anna in his sights. "She is really pretty and she's got a nice body. Her and Amber are the sort of girls I'd go for looks-wise," he uncovers.

He's set to bring some fun into the villa. "The last few months I've been staying in, saving up, working out and being boring so I'm looking for a bit of excitement," the tradesman comments.

George has never cheated before but says if he sees the girl he wants, and they have a connection, he's going to go for it. "I'm hoping I'll have better luck meeting them in a different environment to a nightclub!" the Essex boy jokes.

Dan Rose, 21, a bathroom salesman from Nuneaton

Tommy's set to meet his match in self-confessed clown Dan who says the boxer is "very much like me - I'm a bit of an idiot too."

"My good traits are that I'm funny, chatty and talkative. I'm possibly too confident at times and I'm never wrong," he adds, rating himself a 10 out of 10.

He's making a beeline for Amber but says he'll probably go for Lucie and Maura. "I know she seems loved up with Michael. I'll test the water with it though," he hints, explaining he likes someone who can "back themselves" and who isn't a "pushover."

Ovie Soko, 28, a professional basketball player from London

Ovie, who plays for Great Britain, is no stranger to living abroad. "I left home at 16 to chase my dreams as a basketball player and since then I've lived in six different countries," he explains.

Calling himself an "international 8 [out of ten]," he's had Anna on his radar since the start of the show. "They are all gorgeous girls but I've been watching her from the beginning."

He's up for making pals with the lads in the house, too. "They all seem like sound guys, they seem like cool people. I'm competitive but I'm in the locker room with 14 other big egos on a high level sports team and we all get along just fine, so I think I'll be okay," Ovie says.

Bring on the drama!
