Are you heading on holiday soon and need someone to look after your beloved pooch? Never fear because the Hotel Dachshund is a bespoke destination purely for sausage dogs.

The adorable doggy hotspot is based in Little Dunmow, just outside Felsted, Essex, and can house day guests, overnight guests or even extended guests.

Watch an adorable clip of the hotel below:

Run by Samantha Mannock, the hotel has a whole host of activities to keep your daxie pal mentally stimulated from soft toys to a bespoke two-tier soft play.

The dogs are also taken on daily adventures with a walk off the lead - with the owner's consent - in countryside surrounding the hotel.

And safety is definitely a priority to Samantha, who gets her guests to wear a tracker that is linked to her phone to make sure she knows where they are at all costs.

Yet, the hotspot for hounds really comes into its own should your beloved pooch celebrate their birthday during their stay.

Each birthday pooch has their own pawsome party complete with dog-friendly birthday cake, a birthday bandana, a souvenir photo of the event and party games.

Despite the dachshund-only rule, Samantha said they accept non-daxie's to the hotel only if they have a sausage dog sibling.

Speaking to Teamdogs.co.uk, Samantha explained that she came up with the idea for the hotel after she became a dog mum to a dachshund named Rolo.

The former teacher said she struggled to find someone to look after Rolo's "unique needs" when she and her daughter Daisy went away during the school holidays so came up with the Hotel Dachshund during lockdown.

Samantha, who has left her teaching job, said: "After teaching for a long time and during lockdown I realised that what the dachshund community needed was a boarding and day care facility that catered purely for sausage dogs with somebody at the helm who understood their very specific needs.

"This is why I set up Hotel Dachshund. The hotel is luxury all the way. There is no shortage of cuddles, pampering, attention, long walks in the countryside and lots of comfy sofas complete with warm blankets to snuggle under.

"The mummies and daddies of all the little sausage guests all say that they love the fact that their little daxies get everything they need at the hotel and enjoy their breaks as they know their little sausages are loved in a home from home environment by myself, my daughter and of course Rolo who started this journey."

What a totally pawsome business!
