Getting divorced can be one of the most stressful experiences in life, so it's not surprising that many Brits opt to go on holiday once things are finalised to have a break from the emotional stress.

Now Virgin Holidays has launched 'divorce holiday packages' to Las Vegas to help people who are getting divorced have a bit of R&R after the stress of the split.

It also showed that two-thirds of adults (60 per cent) lost touch with their friends while they were married, but that over half of Brits (55 per cent) said that going through divorce made them reconnect and form deeper relationships with friends.

Virgin Holidays' Divorce Holiday packages, available in Las Vegas, include experiences such as personal styling sessions and photoshoots, shopping sprees, entertainment and nightlife itineraries, and excursions like night helicopter flights over the illuminated Las Vegas Strip.

There are three holidays packages have a starting price of £999 per person and are based on four friends experiencing the holiday package.

The packages vary with each including different activities such as spa treatments, photoshoots and entry into nightclubs and pool parties.

"Unfortunately divorce is a reality for one in two British adults, which can take its emotional toll, so we've launched a new range of products that are designed to give our customers a well-deserved break," says Joe Thompson, Managing Director of Virgin Holidays.
