London has been voted the continent's most Instagrammable city, giving us another excuse we didn't need to keep snapping away at red buses and telephone boxes and flower-covered houses in the name of becoming a travel influencer.
According to new research by holiday rental website HomeToGo, our capital blows all the other cities out of the water when it comes to the 'gram.
The research looked at which destinations had the most hashtags on Instagram to determine which cities were the most Instagrammed.
Top of the list was London, with nearly 120 million hashtags, followed by Paris, with over 100 million hashtags, and Barcelona, with nearly 50 million hashtags.

As well as famous landmarks such as Big Ben, Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace, other popular London places that draw Instagrammers by the thousands include the colourful houses of Primrose Hill, the floral-covered Peggy Porschen Parlour, and the sumptuous, millennial-pink interiors at Sketch.
Though the French capital was far behind London when it came to hashtags, Paris did beat London when it came to the most Instagrammed site in Europe.
The Notre-Dame Cathedral was the most popular place in Europe to put on Instagram, with nearly two million hashtags.
There was other curious data in the website's findings: though it only came seventh in the list of most Instagrammed cities, Amsterdam was the most searched city in Europe, suggesting that Instagram users keen for a gorgeous canal snap might be planning their holidays sometime soon.
