The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge launched their YouTube channel this week and it's safe to say they're already making waves with their first ever video.

Eagle-eyed royal fans believe they've heard Kate call William 'dude' and TBH we can hear it too. Check out the video below and skip forward to 19 seconds to hear it for yourself:

About 19 seconds into the video titled 'Welcome to our official YouTube channel', the couple - who recently celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary - are filming an interview. Kate stops William mid-sentence and gives him some advice regarding his pronunciation.

Lots of fans have said they can hear Kate say: "Dude, you don't need to roll your R's".

William responds: "Do I not?"

The video has now sparked a debate on social media, with Instagram users flooding the comments section to dissect what Kate actually said.

"I feel likes he says 'dude, you don't need to roll your R' which would just be fantastic!" one person said.

Another viewer added: "I'm sure I hear her say 'Dude, you don't need to roll your R'"

Could it be true? Did Kate really call William Dude? We have decided to believe so!

Elsewhere in the video, which has already accumulated more than 1.2 million views, we see the couple sitting on a sofa and introducing their channel. The rest of the video shows the Duke and Duchess at public engagements including their visit to Bhutan as well as Kate trying archery and William flying a helicopter.

Their channel will continue to be a hub for exclusive videos and content. The Cambridges already use Twitter and Instagram to promote their work and now they have added YouTube into the mix.

Last week they celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary and used the day to share a beautifully shot video that gave the world a glimpse into their private family life with their children in Norfolk.

We can't wait to see what else the Cambridges have in store!
