A woman, who 'likes to bring things back to life', has created a group of half monster half baby dolls, and they are pretty creepy to say the least.

Julia Hamill owns Okie Babies, and creates hyper-realistic newborn dolls daily, however, she has given them a more sinister twist.

The 'reborn monster babies' are created by adapting one of Julia's newborn dolls with freaky features like fur, fangs and scars, selling them for £225 ($300) to £915 ($1200).

The one-of-a-kind dolls are made primarily from silicone and take days to complete.

Each fibre of hair is meticulously placed onto the tot's head, and each vein is precisely drawn by hand onto the little baby dolls.

If you didn't think the dolls could get any scarier, their eyes also follow their owner round the room so there is no escape.

Horror movie fan Julia, from Oklahoma, said: "I like to bring dead things back to life. What's so confusing about my dolls is they look really evil or look as if they could hurt you, but they're actually babies.

"They're really cute. I've always had a thing for horror movies, so I wanted to take my version of what those things would look like in my head and put it on these dolls.

"All of my babies are one-of-a-kind - I never make an exact replica and I'm constantly creating new versions."

Julia sometimes incorporates pieces of animal or human bone and teeth into the dolls.

She explained: "I really like adding pieces of bone and teeth - whether it be human or animal - into my dolls.

"I just love turning things that have died back into something beautiful again.

"Okie babies has changed my life, I now no longer work a 9-5 and can be around my family a lot more."
