Fans Get Rare Glimpse Of Baby Archie In Harry And Meghan's Annual Christmas Card

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have unveiled their 2020 Christmas card, and it is truly adorable.

The card is an illustration of a photo and gives us a glimpse at the couple's 19-month-old son Archie, who has clearly inherited his dad's red hair! We also get to see their backyard of their Montecito, California home as well as Archie's playhouse and their two pooches, Pula and Guy.

It was released on Wednesday via Mayhew, Meghan's animal welfare organisation patronage in the UK. The card was posted across Mayhew's social media channels with a caption confirming that Meghan and Prince Harry have made a personal donation to Mayhew to support their vital work to help dogs, cats and communities.

The caption reads: "We're thrilled to receive wonderful Christmas wishes from our Patron, The Duchess of Sussex, who also made a personal donation, helping dogs, cats and our community.

"From all of us at Mayhew, thank you and Merry Christmas."

In the card, Meghan writes: "This year we, as a family, have made donations to several charities with you in mind.

"From a local California organisation that helps families transition out of homelessness, to two of our U.K. patronages: one that supports animal and community welfare, and the other, a memorial fund for a cherished friend that helps to educate children and fight poverty in Uganda, we have honoured their work on behalf of all of us."

A spokesperson for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said: "The original photo of the family was taken at their home earlier this month by The Duchess's mother.

"The small Christmas tree, including the homemade ornaments and other decorations, were selected by Archie, and the tree will be replanted after the holidays."

The family are spending their first Christmas in their new home in California this year. Meghan and Harry suffered a devastating miscarriage soon after their move in July, which Meghan bravely spoke open about in a personal article for The New York Times released during the Thanksgiving period.

Last year, Prince Harry and Meghan shared their first Christmas card as a family of three. It showed the proud parents grinning as baby Archie looked directly at the camera.

We hope the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Archie have a very Merry Christmas!
