The UK's vaccine advisory body has confirmed under-30s will be offered an alternative to the AstraZeneca vaccine due to a possible link with blood clots.
It follows increased fears over a possible link between the Oxford jab and blood clots with Germany, France and the Netherlands suspending use of the vaccine in younger people.
The instances, which appear to be most common in women under 60, are 'extremely rare' and regulators have stressed that the benefits far outweigh the possible risks.
